How this website handles the information you share with us.
What we collect
When you submit an enquiry through this website, we collect the details you provide — your name, company, work email, phone number, country, and the requirement you describe, plus any file you choose to attach. We also record basic technical information needed to protect the form from abuse (such as the submitting IP address) and, where present, the campaign parameters in the link you arrived from.
If you separately subscribe to The Ceylon Spice Trade Brief, we collect your email address and any optional first name, company and interest you provide, together with the time, source and policy version for your marketing consent.
How we use it
Enquiry details are used solely to respond to your request — preparing specifications, quotations, samples and follow-up correspondence. We do not sell personal data, and we do not use enquiry details for unrelated marketing without your consent.
Newsletter information is used only to manage the subscription and distribute the trade brief. A newsletter signup is separate from an export enquiry, and submitting an enquiry never subscribes you automatically. Resend acts as the email contact and delivery provider once the newsletter service is enabled.
Cookies and analytics
If SDS enables Google Analytics 4, Google's analytics script loads only after you select “Accept analytics”. Until then, no analytics events are queued or sent. We use aggregated page and approved interaction data to understand which content is useful; names, email addresses, phone numbers, enquiry messages and form contents are excluded from analytics events. The site stores your analytics choice in your browser so it can be respected on later visits.

Retention and your rights
Enquiry records are retained only as long as needed to handle your request and maintain a business relationship. You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by contacting info@sdsspices.com.
Newsletter subscribers can also unsubscribe using the link included in every marketing email. Unsubscribing does not affect transactional correspondence about an enquiry or order.
