About Us

A Sri Lankan spice export partner

SDS Spices (Pvt) Ltd sources, processes and exports premium Ceylon cinnamon and spices — connecting international buyers to origin with specification-led supply.

Who we are

From the vibrant isle of Sri Lanka

SDS Spices grows, sources, and exports a rich variety of spices, both organic and non-organic unique to the vibrant isle of Sri Lanka.

We operate 70,000sqft of dedicated factory space across two facilities in Kosgoda, nestled along the beautiful southern coast — right in the heart of Sri Lanka’s renowned cinnamon-growing region. From these prime locations, we manage the cleaning, processing, packing, and storage of our spices.

Each year, we supply over 1 million kilos of premium Ceylon cinnamon and more than half a million kilos of black pepper, along with substantial volumes of other spices, to customers around the world, upholding our commitment to quality, traceability, and authenticity.

Sustainability & community

Cleaner farming, cleaner power

Sustainability sits inside the operation rather than beside it — in how the estates are farmed, how the warehouses are powered, and what the business puts back into the places it works.

Both warehouses run on solar
Our two Kosgoda warehouses operate on solar power, cutting the carbon footprint of processing and storage and backing our commitment to renewable energy.
A certified organic estate
With cinnamon at our core we pioneer clean farming through a certified organic estate and a GMP-compliant processing hub, and our programme helps local farmers adopt eco-conscious, hygienic cultivation practices.
Partnerships, not spot buying
From farm to pack we work with trusted growers across Sri Lanka's spice belt. Those long partnerships hold quality steady while supporting fair trade and mindful sourcing.
Investing where we work
Community engagement is part of the business: among other work, we funded a professional sound system for a nearby school so it could upgrade its auditorium for lessons and cultural events.
